United States Postal Shipping
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Saffron Hill Farms extends the opportunity for customers to shop online and receive their orders by US mail. Being safe and practicing social distancing, as much as possible, is our number one priority.
Customers who live outside of the curbside drop-off locations (Fork Union, Henrico and Richmond, Virginia), out-of-state, Canada, and the US territories, can opt to have their online shopping orders mailed to their home or business.
All orders will be mailed using the United States Postal Service (USPS). For customers within the United States and recognized territores, all packages will be shipped according to the following rates:
Small Flat Rate USPS Priorty Mail Shipping Box - $8.50
Medium Flat Rate USPS Priorty Mail Shipping Box - $15.05
Large Flat Rate USPS Priority Mail Shipping Box - $21.10
A flate-rate fee of $8.50 is automatically set-up in the shopping cart check-out feature for those who desire to have their orders mailed. This fee will only cover packages prepared and mailed with the USPS Small Flat Rate Box shipping orders. If your order requires a medium or large USPS flat rate box, customers will be charged $8.50 within the online check-out feature, and the difference will be collected from you at the post office affiliated with your home address locality as a Collect-On-Delivery (COD).
With Collect-on-Delivery, more commonly known as COD, you can arrange to pay upon delivery of the merchandise. The USPS will collect your remaining postal delivery payment in cash. Personal checks will not be accepted. All packages mailed to cusotmers are insured against loss, breakage or theft for a value up to $1,000. Packages will not be processed as "Registered Mail."
Once your order is processed online, you will receive an email confirmation indicating the size of your flat rate priority box and the amount expected to pay under COD.
